It looks like a great place to relax with a nice glass of lemonade. Very beautiful!

Ah, summer!

That's quite a pretty garden you've got there! Makes me wish there was such a thing as a scratch & sniff online photo album... LOL! There's little as beguiling as the scent of fresh roses and honeysuckle in summer, joined with the essence of newly mowed lawn. I'll take a glass of sweet iced tea, please, when I sit in the other empty chair & soak in the beautiful surroundings of your garden. :)

Kinni,Windy,Laurie,Drdog...

Thanks for the comments.
I do sit out there and take a little sun sometimes.
Not quite lemonade hot here yet though!

Mostly it's where I look out the window in the morning, have my coffee and watch the yellow finches.

I'm super jealous of your garden. I still have so much work to do on my own yard...*sigh*

Envy not

Posted on 2008-Jul-1 at 11:49 AM by Anonymous beeper!
A boy from the city had his first overnight,
a friend of his parents lived in the country.
He awoke very early to the sound of a train.
It was so loud and unfamiliar it scared him!

There were no sirens or motorcycles, no
bass guitar riffs from a nearby nightclub.
The sounds he was familiar with in the city
were missing from the background of his sleep.
Awake now, it was only birds and peepers and silence.

At breakfast time he was charmed by the
various colored birds visiting the window feeders
and the garden, rabbits were eating grass in the
distant back yard. Like a bit of heaven it was to him.
He longed for this to be in his own life someday.

I wonder who that boy was?

This is a very tempting slide show! You feel the need to sit down and listen to the birds and be happy and relaxed! You have a very beautiful garden, Jeeps!
